I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Adobe (Lehi, UT) in May 2018
Interview
Phone Screening, Phone Interview with 3 Team Leads, Assignment/Task to implement Dynamic Tag Management (DTM) with Adobe Analytics Cloud, and then an on-site interview with the 3 Team Leads followed by an interview with hiring manager.
I did not feel that the process was too stressful, the questions were not challenging and the process was approximately 3 weeks.
The problem I have is, I was anticipating an offer at the end of the process, but rather, I was told that some departmental changes had occurred and they would not be making an offer at that time. 2 weeks passed and I am told by the recruiter that the position was filled internally and maybe the team will be looking for another consultant "soon". The position is still posted externally and has never been closed (I get to see the posting in my LinkedIn Jobs feed everyday).
I am not concerned that I am being strung along because of some devise plan, but rather it is a lack of organization and is a negative representation of the companies ability to make decisions. I really wanted to work for Adobe.
Note to Adobe: Good candidates with skills, determination and integrity are not likely to sit around waiting for an offer that may, or may not, ever come. If you are not ready to make a decision to fill a role, don't go fishing for candidates and waste everyone's time going through the motions; no one wins.
