Initial submission of interest to discuss position. Followed by a submission of my CV and cover letter. Heard back a few days later inviting me to an online interview with a panel of interviewers.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What have you done alongside your academic studies?
First was a HackerEarth coding challenge with 19 multiple choice questions and 3 programming questions, overall quite easy. Then an online interview, asking about soft skills, previous experience and why their company, then technical questions on languages and frameworks I had worked with.
j'ai fais 2 entretiens techniques de 1h chacun avec deux software engineers , et un entretien behavioral avec un manager et un entretien telephonique de 30 min avec RH au début.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Amadeus (London, England) in Dec 2022
Interview
1 Coding Game (Python) , 1 HR interview, Technical interview and final Interview with Senior Manager. Research a lot about the company for HR interview and be enthusiastic. Coding game isn't too difficult, just practice some Leetcode and python syntax.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Coding Game: Quickfire python syntax/logic questions + 1 Leetcode easy graph question. HR: 15 mins of: Why Amadeus? What are you interested in...etc. Technical 1hr : Might make you do some coding, might not depending on interviewer. For me it was more on the technical stuff on my CV that I had to explain in detail. If you did some cool projects and know ur stuff, here's where you get to show off. Time flies, we were supposed to review some coding activities but the CV stuff took too long and they figured I knew what I was talking about so they skipped it. Final Interview: Asked a lot of applied questions like how would you improve current airline services with your technology? Would you store data locally on physical media (answer: no use cloud storage), one simple mathsy algorithm question(just had to answer verbally).
