I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Amazon (Arlington, VA) in Jan 2021
Interview
four rounds of the interview. the manager round was tough, with tons of behavior questions, and challenged each detail you said. the other rounds were normal. got rejected after three days.
Watch out for the online asssessments. Even though the bar seems to have lowered, they can still completely block you out from further rounds. Study, study, study! Also make sure to know your LPs (leadership principles).
1 coding round followed by 3 technical interviews. All rounds were held online. A very massive weightage was associated with competitive coding - especially dynamic programming. Leadership principles are the focus for behavioural questions. As far as the non-CP technical questions go, the interviewers were very friendly and would often ask you to pick something that interested you and discuss it rather than asking questions randomly.
