I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Madrid) in Sep 2016
Interview
First they sent me a SHL Numerical Reasoning Test. Easier than the practice questions one. After, I got a HireVue OnDemand Interview where I had to record my answers. The video interview was a bit strange, you have to record your answers to general questions talking to the camera, as a TV reporter.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Amazon (San Diego, CA) in Sep 2016
Interview
It was very casual. I was emailed to set up an interview about 2 weeks before the interview date. I was flown out to San Diego and they put me up in a nice hotel. The interview itself was 2 x 1 on 1 interviews with basic STAR questions (name a time you improved a process, etc.) and questions where they wanted to know what you would do in a given situation. The whole interview took less than 2 hours.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon (New York, NY) in Apr 2016
Interview
Two 1:1 interviews with current area managers. They went through case studies to see how you would handle it. They also asked in depth questions about leadership experiences. It was fairly laid back.
