Interview
Before my interview, I really wanted this job :(
My interviewers were TERRIBLE - they degraded me, made me feel stupid, talked down to me and much more. Now I don't know if I will ever shop on the website again.
It's a great position, if you meet the right people.

Interview
First I went through a phone screening which was pretty simple and mostly asked about your leadership and process improvement experience. Then I was flown to Pheonix to interview. The first night you get there the recruiters take you out to dinner where you meet Area Managers, Operations Managers and Facility Managers and get to talk and ask questions. It was very casual and comfortable and it is a great chance to ask about Amazon as well as ask current Area Managers what the job is like.
The first interviewer asked me some questions on a work flow optimization problem.
The second interviewer asked me some standard interview questions and also wanted examples of leadership and process improvement. This was a more standard type interview. Both interviews lasted about 45 minutes. Then they took us for a tour of thier FC. For anyone who is interested in this kind of stuff the tour is pretty cool. After the tour it was over and I was taken back to the hotel.
All in all not an easy interview but not terrible either. All the people at Amazon were really friendly and the interview was very comfortable. I got an offer a few days later and accepted.

Interview
I have not completed the interview process. I will be having my second interview shorty with whom I believe would be my boss. My last one was on the phone and so will the next one. The questions have not been difficult. Be prepared to speak about how you have improved processes and your leadership style.
