Applied online and received an email about 2-3 weeks later asking for a time to set up an interview via Chime. Met a couple of days later with two individuals where they asked a few basic STAR questions along with “Why Amazon?”. Study the leadership principles and alter your answers to fit those principles.

Overall they want to see if you have leadership qualities that will help with the area manager position and if you are willing to go up and beyond for the company. Apply on website. Amazon makes you do some sort of test afterwards. If you do well, they'll contact you to set up an interview. The interview has three parts. First part is just a briefing. Second part, you'll speak to someone who will ask behavioral questions. Second part, you'll speak to someone who will ask situational questions. In about a week, they'll let you know whether or not you got the job.
