Interview
1 phone interview and a 3 hour on site interview. Look up the leadership principles and try to incorporate them into your answers. Just be friendly and be yourself. When they tell you to dress casual, dress casual. No need to wear a suit. I wore a pair of Chucks, Hudson Jeans with a nice Banana Republic button up and a BP blazer.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
I had initially applied to Amazon several times without success. Luckily I caught the eye of a recruiter from one of my social profiles ie. Monster or LinkedIn. The recruiter contacted me through email and I sent back the survey provided expressing my interest. A few days later I received an email telling me that I was chosen for a phone interview.
Phone Interview:
The interviewer called me at the scheduled time. I was given a background on the interviewer and the experience he had at Amazon. I must say I was impressed. I was asked to give background o n myself and my past experiences. Make sure you are very knowledgeable about your resume and can give examples of each bullet point. There was a math question that was pretty easy. The question was altered several times so the interviewer could gauge my critical thinking skills. I got the impression that how I came to my conclusions was more important than the answers. The rest of the interview was pretty standard. I received an email a few days later that my interview had went well and I was chosen to have a face to face.
Face to face interview:
This interview was a bit intimidating and is definitely not for the weak of heart. I had to travel to a location where they were having an interview event. Amazon pays the expense. Once at the site I discovered the were 10 or 11 ppl also interviewing for the same position. I'm not sure if we were all interviewing for the same site. We were taken on a tour of the facility, which is very impressive. After the tour we went into our interviews. We each had 5 or 6 interviews with different people. Each interviewer focused on a different set of Amazon principles. Research the company and be very familiar with each of them. Make sure to prepare experiences of your own that follow these principles. The interviews each followed the STAR format. Also, you are given a math problem which you have 15 mins to solve. You will also have present the problem. The interview lasted 6hrs.
