Amazon Area Manager interview questions

Amazon uses the STAR method to assess their hires. They want to understand your problem solving abilities from stories throughout your career. Often times they are looking for situations you’ve encountered where an obstacle was in place, how you encountered it and what the resolution was. Amazon is a very competitive atmosphere so they’re looking for people who will not give excuses and will get the job done.

One interview then you choose location preferences. Then you receive an offer letter. During interview they want you to answer in STAR format. If you have no managerial experience then you can talk about coursework in an educational environment. College students are wanted.
