Amazon Data Engineer interview questions

First, the hiring manager contacted me on LinkedIn. After which I was asked for my resume and then HR setup the technical phone screening. Interviewer showed up about 10 mins late and took about 1 hour for the entire process.

First round is about testing problem-solving skills i.e, coding round and the next round is on writing complex queries as the role itself is related to the handling of huge data. Shortlisted people from above rounds are gone through Technical interviews both coding and sql interviews. Interviewers were very supportive and giving hints. In coding interview i was asked on arrays and binary trees. In sql interview , asked to write few queries and few questions about how i managed my databases, tables in my projects and explain briefly. Final shortlists were gone through HR round where we are asked mostly about our projects
