I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
After OA and Phone Screening, there are 4 rounds in total. Two tech rounds followed by a hiring manager round and a bar raiser round.
SQL, Python scripting and few technical deep dives based on project experience are focussed in general. All 3 rounds might have SQL, one or two rounds might have python which depends on the team and the role's demand for scripting. For SQl often asked questions revolve around using CTEs, Window functions and Joins. Knowledge on ETL frameworks or Big data tools like Spark, Glue, Airflow, Kinesis or Datastores like Redshift are covered along with AWS services. BR round focuses mainly on Amazon's Leadership principles.

They focus very heavily on the Amazon Leadership principles. Total 5 rounds. It was a bad experience as they did not acknowledge the fact that I was facing audio issues and the interviewer seemed agitated and turns out he was the hiring manager.
