First was a sales & tech teamed pair, then a newly appointed leader for a new local-presence business unit who was also former team leader for the previous two guys. Finally, a standard engineering manager type.
Everyone had a prepared list of questions that must be asked. As long as the mandatory questions were covered, the conversation could evolve as needed. There were a few questions of the "tell me a time when" genre,
The eng manager was different, he kept asking me "and then what did you do, and then what did you do", maybe a dozen times. Not sure what he was after.
