I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (New York, NY) in Dec 2016

Recruiter Contacted me through LinkedIn. Then he scheduled a interview with senior software engineer for technical remote interview. The technical interviewer was least interested in knowing my profile. He jumped to interview questions at the beginning of the cal. He did not even introduced himself.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2016
Interview
Amazon recruiter and HR were friendly. They always respond quickly and gave proper updates on the process.
1st Step: technical phone interview. Mostly basic computer science and algorithm based. Even this was front end position, I was Ok because most of the companies have this standard process.
2nd Step: Amazon calls me on the site. They did all arrangement hotel and transport. On-site interview consists of 6 interviews, including a 1 lunch interview with the director.
All interviewers were asking same behavior questions and one coding question which is not all at related to my 6 year experience as a front end developer (trees, graphs). Not a single question on HTML, CSS, Javascript, angular and any front end technology.
Though the position mentions all above technology.
They should get out of standard interview process or follow a different interview process for experience candidate.
