I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Amazon (Singapur) in Dec 2017
Interview
First round is phone call with hiring manager, subsequently 4 onsite back to back interviews. They were not able to schedule the fifth onsite interview so it was another phone interview after on-site.
From the questions they asked, it is not only they are finding candidates that align to their 14 leadership principles, they want to know what and how you did in your previous job that demonstrates those principles.
The process is tough but just be sure and clear about your career story because some questions are repeated (which I think it is done purposely) to check your consistency and authenticity.
Don’t be afraid of standing up and start using the whiteboard when necessary. Amazon values “Deep dive” and it means details. If you can demonstrate the depth of your thinking and past achievements in the limited time, you are probably one step close to the door.

Question 1
Tell me a time when you have to make a decision between quality and deadline.
Did a test task and was called by HR almost immediately for the next round. But salary range (full packet with stock and benefits) and return to office policy did nit much my expectations
very standard. the interviewers had a set of questions to ask about the LPs so we can anticipate beforehand. But I think I got ghosted in the end. One of the interviewers told me about the 2 & 5 rule but its been more than 2 weeks since my last interview and still no response from anyone so idk what happened.
Lengthy, messy schedule, interviews canceled last minute, interviewer late. Rude, disrespectful and dismissive approach toward candidate. Majority of people were from a different team so had no clue about the specifics of the position when asked in the final Q&A. If they treat you like this before joining, can’t imagine after. Application withdrawn.
