Got call to attend interview in Amazon office : Bagmane Business Park, bangalore
Basic requirements :
1. Problem Solving and Coding
2. Scripting (in either Shell or Perl or Python) and Trouble Shooting/Debugging
3. Operational Excellence, Automate Infrastructure and Process improvement
4. Leadership Principles: Customer Obsession, Ownership, Dive Deep, Dealing with ambiguity, Bias for action, Earn Trust, Think Big, Learn and be curious, Insist on high standards, Invent & Simplify, Have backbone: Disagree & Commit.

Question 1
All the attendees were asked to seat in an training room. We were handed over a questions sheet along with blank papers to solve them.
There were around 8-10 questions. Questions were simple :

to me
1) program to check for a password strength - It should be of 8 digit, alphanumeric, upper case, lowercase.
2) Concatenate two file and push output to 3rd file
3) Replace a string
4) Remove continuous duplicates from a string
5) 3 array - find common element
6) Replace word in string with number and then sort them
Yeah, it went well! They mainly asked about core DevOps fundamentals and a few AWS cloud-related concepts — nothing too tricky, just straightforward questions.
The interview went quite well! They focused mostly on DevOps fundamentals such as CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes, along with some AWS cloud concepts like EC2, S3, and IAM. Overall, it was straightforward and conversational

applied on Amazon Careers, received a callback from HR, cleared the online assessment, and within the next two weeks, the interview was scheduled.
The interview process consists of 5 rounds: 1) Online assessment, 2) Coding interview, 3) OS, Networking, and Linux round, 4) Amazon Principles round, and 5) Offer.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Mailand) in Jan 2025
