I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Detroit, MI) in Oct 2020
Interview
Behavioral interview questions such as “Tell me a time when…” I suggest preparing by researching the leadership principles and having a specific story for each one. It will usually consist of two interviews back to back and each interviewer will have around 3 specific leadership principles to focus on. They will ask you around 3-6 questions each. The interview can be very difficult if you do not prepare and extremely easy if you do. Make sure to answer in the STAR method.

Question 1
Why Amazon?
Tell me a time when you sacrificed short term gain for long term gain.
Tell me a time when you struggle to gain a relationship with someone on your team.
Tell me a time when you mentored someone.
Tell me the most innovative thing you’ve done in your recent position.
Tell me a time when you created a metric.
Tell me a time when you achieved something you thought was impossible.
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Stamford, CT)
Interview
Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. Talked to 3 different people, all of whom were wearing old sweatshirts and not looking at the camera. As I was sitting on zoom in a suit jacket, did not feel at all a place I would be valued at.

Question 1
Conflict between coworkers, how would you approach resolving?
All virtual. STAR interview questions (situation task action result). Think of examples of tough situations you had to deal with. I think I had 2 or 3 interviews before I got an offer. Pretty smooth process overall.
