Amazon Operations Manager, I interview questions

Preinterview is full of prep emails explaining exactly what is going to happen and how to prepare. At the interview you have four, 45 minute interviews with different people. They ask you about your past roles and ask you to use the STAR method when answering "how would you" type of questions.

The interview process was structured and professional. It started with an initial phone screening, followed by two rounds of competency-based interviews. They focused on leadership, stakeholder management, and operational problem-solving. Each interviewer asked scenario-based questions to assess my ability to streamline processes, manage teams, and deliver results. The process was fair, thorough, and allowed me to highlight both technical knowledge and soft skills.
