Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Could you tell me a moment where you have to sacrifice short term instead of long term?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon in Feb 2024
Interview
Screening Interview by Recruiter, then phone interview by HM, then either a 4 or a 6 hour loop with 4-6 interviewers. One skills assessment, and one writing assessment (both unnecessary, time-consuming and shouldn't be required). Questions are straightforward and based on LP's. Most interviewers are nice, engaging but will ask probing questions to clarify. I did have one interviewer who told me that my role was hard and that I should be prepared, don't let stuff like that throw you off, be confident and state what you're good at without sounding defensive. I highly reccommend you spend a few days prepping for the interviews because even if you don't get the role, the process really prepares you for the market and future interviews. Overall, despite the loop being exhausting, it was a great experience even if i didn't feel great about my answers!

Question 1
Regular behavioral questions that relate to the leadership principles. "Tell me about a time...". The Recruiter will be able to give you many examples.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Waldorf, MD) in May 2024
Interview
I had a four part interview with four different people. Each person asked about 3-4 questions each. I was told by the recruiter post interview that I would be a better fit for the Area Manager position which is entry level. I am not an entry level candidate so I respectfully declined.
