The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Amazon (Riad) in Aug 2020
Interview
I got the email from the recruiter and we set up an interview.
The interview went great. The usual amazon 14 LP and behavioral questions. 2hrs after the interview i got a call for the hiring manager interview and we scheduled a time for it.
On the day of the interview, I logged into
their amazon chime meeting and waited for a good 15/20 mins. Upon no show, I emailed the recruited and the replied back with “oh i am sorry position was filled because someone was already in the final round when we cleared you for second round”.
Extremely unprofessional and unfair. How did they close the hiring without giving everyone a fair and equal opportunity!!

Question 1
What did you do for the company where you had to go out of your way?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Amazon (Houston, TX) in Jul 2020
Interview
Phone Interview (first interview). Conducted via Phone. Approximately 40 minutes. Some basic questions, some simple math problems, and time for Q&A at the end. Very comfortable, put at ease, low threat.

Question 1
Tell me about time you used data to make a decision or improve a process
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Rossford, OH) in May 2020
Interview
Long drawn out process with a whole lot of hurdles. First was a phone screen followed by another phone screen with person in job title I was interviewing for. Then I had to write an essay. Then Chime interview with 4 different people and math test. Then I was offered a different job then I interviewed for. Not a good or pleasant interview process.

Question 1
Everything was based on the STAR process. Everything seemed to be a test to try and catch something that one doesn’t know about themselves.
