I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Amazon in Dec 2019
Interview
3 screening rounds. first was multiple choice question second was coding and third was behavioral and then the technical interview. the interviewer was friendly and the process is smooth as well.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Nov 2019
Interview
Interview process was pretty disorganized and slow. At one point after not hearing from the recruiter for over a week I was asked if I would be available for an in person interview the next day. I had to politely explain that being physically located across the country without any flight already booked, would make that impossible.
The interview itself consisted of a phone interview involving a shared screen coding problem that took about 1 hour. The in person interview was pretty standard, and involved lots of architecture questions, a 1 hour coding question, and going to lunch with one team member.
The interview itself was not bad, but the process leading up to it was extremely disorganized.
I applied in-person. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Feb 2020
Interview
The interview process was pretty standard. First, there was a 1 hr telephonic interview with one of the members of my team. They notified me about the result within a few hours. I flew for the onsite next month. The onsite interview had standard 5 rounds.
Interview 1: Leadership Principles + 1 LC medium coding question
Interview 2: Leadership Principles + System Design
Lunch Round
Interview 3: Leadership Principles + 1 LC medium coding problem
Interview 4: Leadership Principles + 1 coding problem on trees
I'm still waiting on the results
