got rejection the day after oa2.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Berlin)
Interview
I applied online and received an email with a coding challenge to do within 5 days and I did it on the second day, 2 questions related to sorting and search along with explanation for time/space complexity. Then I received an email saying we’re going to the next round and asking for availability which I provided. From that point it was just one big mess on their side, I talked with 5 different recruiters, none of them had any idea what the position was or where we were in the process. And on checking the job portal it stated on my application“no longer under consideration” and when I asked they replied “let’s just keep going and see”. The phone screening involved a DFS question and a lot of behavioral questions related to Amazon’s leadership principles. I then was invited to an on-site/virtual interview consisting of 4 successive interviews each around 1h the first 3 where a mix of technical questions, again DFS, BFS and tree related questions and one purely behavioral round. I gave the optimal answers to all technical exercises and their follow up questions, followed the required STAR format for the behavioral ones and even was told during the first 2 of interviews that I did perfect, but the third one she seemed completely disinterested and was just looking through her phone while I was solving the exercise, she had no idea what I am typing and seemed like she was forced to be there, yet I answered all her questions and more. after all of this I got a call the next day that they won’t be offering me the position with no explanation or consideration for the time and effort I put into the process. It would have saved me a lot of time and effort had they said from the beginning that they hired someone else and they would be looking to recycle me for some other teams.

Question 1
The most common questions along all the processes, was leadership question, i.e. "Tell me about the time you failed to do a task, how did you manage?", "Tell me about a time, when you were right & you had to convince your team/colleague?"
