I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Windsor, CT) in Jan 2020
Interview
1. Submitted job application/resume online
1a. Required to take 2 multiple choice questionnaires
2. Received email within 3 hours asking for phone interview
3.Scheduling was a little confusing. At first received request of time 7 days out. Received confirmation. Woke next morning to email for another time in 1 days time. Confirmed that one, but needed to ask if this replaced or was in addition to first one (replaced)
4. Had phone interview which was both informative and relatively easy given others feedback.
5. Within 2 hours received email asking for on-site interview at fulfillment center the 3 days later.
6. After confirming date/time, I received writing sample request (required for interview). You must submit within 48 hours of interview, which meant I had about 4 hours to complete to make the "deadline"
7. Onsite interview - tour, math "test", and 4 separate interviews (3 Sr. Ops Managers, 1 HR person) 1st interviewer was more concerned about her credentials (her MBA, moving here from foreign country, her abilities), took notes with little eye contact. 2nd interviewer was interactive and engaged and was both informative and professions.
3rd interviewer was the least professional, very aggressive manner, asked questions that indirectly were age related, marital/family status. The 4th interview was with a HR person who as anyone should/would expect was positive in nature.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
"I see my operations manager after 4 days of 14 hour shifts look like walking zombies. Why would you want that after all your years of experience?"

Interview
Phone screen and then interview loops with people in and tangential to the team you apply for. Consider how you rate/compare to others with like jobs in your field but know and embrace how you might do things differently (but, only if you've been successful in being different)
