I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Amazon in May 2022
Interview
I think their recruiters are paid to talk to people, not sure... Twice I have been contacted, quick initial interview, everything seems ok on my end but then the positions they actually want to discuss are finally brought up and not a very good fit for my resume or me. Just a bit of time wasted. They should send job description first, like everyone else, imo.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Arlington, VA) in May 2022
Interview
I had an one hour phone interview with Sr. Program Manager who asked me many behavioral questions. She asked only one professional question about Agile/Waterfall methods and what are the pros/cons of these methods. All the other questions were behavioral and not so complicated.
Phone screen followed by situational/behavioural onsites
Prepare using Amazon LPs for onsites - this will be shared by the recruiter anyway. Not an easy process but not extremely challenging. Follow guidelines shared.
