I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Dallas, TX) in Jan 2022
Interview
I had three phone screens, two with recruiters and one with the hiring manager. After the phone screens, I was invited for the “panel,” which was a series of five consecutive interviews on the same day. All interviews followed the same format and lasted 45 minutes each. The first five minutes were introductions and pleasantries. This was followed by two behavioural questions that lasted a total of 30 minutes. The last 10 minutes were reserved for any questions I had for the interviewer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. Tell me about a decision for which data and analysis weren’t sufficient to provide the right course and you had to rely on your judgment and instincts. 2. Describe a time when you disagreed with your manager. How did you handle the situation?
Long with multiple rounds that included a phone screen with recruiter (sometimes two), hiring manager call, and a larger stakeholder loop either virtual or in person. Amazon does notify candidates of interview decisions quickly, within at most a week of the final loop.

Question 1
Study all of the leadership principles! ex. Tell me about a time you used data to solve a problem? ex: Tell me about a time you had to make a decision without time to consult your manager?
Very organized The interviewers asked 1 or 2 questions then dug deep into those answers to get more details. Make sure you give a scenario that you can go deep on for each question. They start with Tell me about yourself, but don’t spend too much time explaining every detail of your resume. The real meat is in the remaining questions.

Question 1
They were all situational. For example, tell me about a time when you had to make a decision with limited information.
