Amazon Project Manager interview questions

Hiring manager interview, then a 1v1 interview with a current employee. Everyone I interacted with was bizarre. There is something weird going on but I never felt like I was speaking to a real person. In my 1v1 interview, the interviewer was late and announced they would shorten it by half. Um, ok. Asked about standard STAR questions like ‘tell me a time when something didn’t go well’ which I answered (and was interrupted while answering) then the interviewer proceeded to ask strange, irrelevant questions about circumstances beyond my control. It would be like someone asking you, as a project manager who answered why a project went wrong, why your boss chose to hire vendor A over vendor B. None of that is relevant to the situation or your ability as an employee. A very strange experience overall.
