I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Irvine, CA) in Jul 2017
Interview
Met with multiple different people in the division - none of whom were "HR" people. The idea is you are interviewed by your potential co-workers. The problem is that these people are 1) concerned about their own job security and performance and 2) not "people operations" staff - they have no idea how to conduct an interview or judge applicants. They are more concerned about their appearance during the interview than they are about accurately assessing the applicant. The process was hours long, stressful, strange, and ultimately a waste of time.

Question 1
They asked all sorts of questions over a 5 hour period, which included going to lunch with one of the interviewers. I can't remember the specific questions but you get the idea.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Amazon (Stockholm, ) in Jul 2020
Interview
Hard to book the interview as it was digitalised, so as I had already accepted a job and did no longer know if I was a good candidate I was not able to get in touch with the interviewer.
