Amazon Senior Manager interview questions

I had nearly 10 interviews with recruiters and members of my future team around the Leadership Principles. Interactions were cold and mechanical — super focused on the STAR method of sharing stories.

Questions focusing on LPs mostly. Some background experience questions. Went through the loop only to be disappointed. In my experience, some questions were too specific, not allowing one to display the broader experience or impact of your knowledge or decisions making process. From the feedback, it seems they wanted to know more about X when they only asked about Y. Despite clarifying at the start, it was a common theme throughout the interviews. I was asked to keep my answers concise at the start of my interviews, and then I was informed that I didn't give enough information as a reason for rejection, surprise surprise!!
