I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon in Jun 2016
Interview
Applied through employee referral. Got a call 1.5 months after applying. Call was scheduled but then rescheduled twice due to unavailability of the PMs. Phone screen with a PM who was very nice. I think I got nervous and did not answer as well as I could have. No unexpected questions.
I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Amazon (London, England) in May 2016
Interview
6 months process, with a month between each step, far too long. They are very slow.
Had 3 phone interview based on their leadership principles, then made it to the interview day in their Holborn office. Had 5 meetings there, all very look alike, still based on leadrship principles.
Finally got rejected for being not convincing enough about data - which I am still not sure why.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
They reached out to me for an interview.
The interviewer was almost 10 minutes late. Didn't apologized. He asked me three very general questions - a time where it was hard to make a decision as a PM, what's most difficult for me as a PM and what are the most important characteristic for a PM.
He didn't seem to care for the answers, wanted to finish the interview as fast as possible and was simply disrespectful.
When it was my turn to ask questions he answer in one or two words. When I said I have no more questions (who wants to ask questions like this??) he said "have a good weekend" and hung up the phone, basically to my face. It took about 20 minutes (though they ask you to plan for a 45-69 minutes call).
He was very disrespectful, rude and arrogant.
I didn't hear back (it's over a week now), even though their timeline to inform you if you passed or not is 2 business days.
