I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Aug 2020
Interview
Quick process. Moved me from round to round fairly quickly. The final round was the most intense part of the process. 5 interviews over 1 day but it went by quicker than expected.

The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Bengaluru)
Interview
It was a long process due to everything being virtual. I passed the online test and my first interview was scheduled after a month.
I had 4 interviews(2 technical+2 design). After all these rounds, I did not hear back from the recruiter. I followed up multiple times but go response. I can take a hint that I am rejected but as per Amazon’s thrive for best customer experience and a 5 day SLA, I really hoped they would have the courtesy to respond.

Interview
Recruiter reached out via email. First step was online evaluation consisted 2 LC medium questions. Evaluation included a second survey which asked to describe approach and complexity for each of the question.
Was invited to onsite in a week. The process was clear and very detailed. Before the interview they had a prep call plus an hour long session to attend.
Onsite consisted of 5 rounds with strong focus on behavioral. Each round was an hour long. The coding problems were medium I did not find them to be very difficult. The behavioral questions are simply "tell me about a time when you...", they look for leadership principles in your answers. There is a lunch break with a team member who talks about their experience.

The recruiters were helpful and fast. The interviewers were all very nice, intelligent, and open-minded. Overall a great experience.
