Process went fine. The interviewers that were engineers and managers seem miserable and unhappy.
Even the scripted answers from them feel like they are not really behind the answers that they gave,

Question 1
How did I deal with a situation where I had problems solving a certain exercise?
I applied through college or university. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Kānpur, Uttar Pradesh) in Dec 2021
Interview
My interview started around 4 AM IST since it was a campus hiring process.
2 Technical rounds and 1 Technical cum HR. (HR guy was from Singapore, and apparently he was proficient enough to evaluate you, though he claimed he wasn't!)
Unlike some other techie Development based SDE interviews, they took the standard approach of evaluating through DSA proficiency.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
5 Coding questions were asked.
2 in Round 1 and 3 in Round 2. All were of easy/medium difficulty.
One other question during the technical interview was to list down 2 instances of coming up with a non-trivial solutions during Technical Projects/Internships.
The HR round was basically to analyse the approach one opts for during Tech blocks. Seemed trivial. For e.g. - Tell me about a risk you took during any endeavour, where you had the option of not taking it but you went ahead with it.
