I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Amazon (Los Angeles, CA) in Jan 2015
Interview
I submitted my resume through a family friend I knew at the company. Then they contacted me to do an online coding test (easy questions about syntax - like missing semicolons, etc.). Once I passed that I had to do a coding test over the phone/a website which was difficult.

Interview
I applied through the college/university. The process took one day. First round was online test . It had 20 MCQ's from all domains such as C, C++, java , apti, reasoning etc., and 2 problems , one was a simple puzzle and the other was a tree problem from Data structures. Never mind the second problem, if YOU are confident with one problem and MCQ'S then you will clear the first round. The next round was a white sheet coding round which is not the usual procedure of amazon. It was quite challenging. The next two rounds are face to face technical HR . Final round is bar raiser round . All those who made till bar raiser were offered. unfortunately i didn,t make it to the last round.
