I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon in Apr 2022
Interview
Recruiter reached out to me. First round was an online assessment - 2 questions - 90 minutes. After a successful online assessment, I had 4 rounds of virtual on-site interviews. 3 were based on algorithms and problem solving. 1 was behavioral.
Was smooth so far. Delayed responses but not too much. Applied in August, went through in September. Got rejected after the technical interview. A lot of friends got questions like palindromes and etc. from a bootcamp student recruiter, which are 6 lines of code, literally. I did not have such luck. Got a breadth first search problem which I solved, but not efficiently. Probably the reason why got rejected.

Question 1
Standard behavioral questions and a breadth first search algorithm problem.

Interview
I had a phone interview that was mostly behavioral questions then an online assessment with 2 questions that are fairly easy if you practiced LeetCode similar problems and know about data structures and algorithms.
