Online Application:
Optimize your resume and cover letter: Highlight your skills and experiences that align with Amazon's Leadership Principles and the job requirements.
Use keywords: Include relevant keywords from the job description to boost visibility to recruiters.
Online Assessment (Sometimes):
Practice in advance: Familiarize yourself with the types of questions, which may include coding challenges, work-style simulations, or other job-specific assessments.
Time management: Pace yourself carefully, as these assessments are often timed.
Phone Screening:
Be prepared: Have your resume handy, research the company and position, and prepare some basic behavioral interview questions.
Sound enthusiastic: Project positive energy and a genuine interest in Amazon.
In-Person or Virtual Interview Loop:
Multiple interviewers: You'll likely meet 4-7 interviewers, including potential teammates, managers, and a "Bar Raiser" (an objective interviewer from a different team).
Behavioral questions: Expect questions focused on Amazon's Leadership Principles (more on this below!).
Technical questions (if applicable): Coding challenges, system design, or other role-specific questions may be part of the interview.
