Many of us from my college who applied were invited to the local office to take an assessment. There were three parts to the assessment: a set of brain teaser puzzle problems, a behavioral survey, and a technical section with 2 programming problems. Each section had a specified amount of time given to complete it. After this, I was contacted to go to the next round, which was a phone interview. The phone interview consisted of speaking with an Amazon SDE and coding via a shared text editor.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One of the technical questions was essentially the two sum leetcode problem.
Series of coding challenges, a phone interview (I skipped this), and a video interview with coding challenges and behavioral questions
Know your leadership principles- at Amazon this isn't corporate jumbo. They take these seriously and is really incredible to see such a large company stand behind quality
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Coding algorithms- more about how you solve the problems and think about them than the actual questions (but you should get them right)
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Amazon in Feb 2018
Interview
2 Online Assessments, first one was logical reasoning test and a debugging test. Both were very easy and honestly thought everyone should pass them.
Second online assessment was a typical coding challenge and was not too difficult from what I remember. I do not remember what question was asked on this part.
Afterwards, there was an 1 on 1 interview through video chat.
