I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2025
Interview
The interview process was intense but fair. Started with an online assessment focusing on data structures and algorithms. Final rounds included two technical interviews and a behavioral one (“Leadership Principles” came up a lot). Interviewers were professional and gave helpful hints when I was stuck. One question involved designing a scalable service for real-time notifications—definitely challenging!
Overall, a great experience—fast-paced, but reflective of Amazon’s high standards.

First coding questions were harder than expected. The platform that they have used for coding interviews didn't work for me at the first try and I was already excited. I emailed them but there were no responses. After some hours later, the platform started working again in an instant. The questions were of medium level and I couldn't use time efficiently.
