I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Nov 2021
Interview
I had two phone screens followed by 5 on-site/video interviews. Unlike the other companies I was also interviewing for at the time, I would say 75% of the total interview questions I got were behavioral. If you have taken the Product Alliance Amazon PM Interview course, I would be dumbfounded if you don't get an offer. Just follow their structure instead of the painfully forced STAR framework and you will definitely pass the interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Most were behavioral questions around Amazon's leadership principles. I also got a product case question around if/how/why I would enable crypto payments on Amazon. All of the questions I got were ones from the Product Alliance Amazon question sheet so I felt very prepared. No technical or estimation questions like I got with Google either.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Mar 2021
Interview
I did the one hour interview. Bombed the interview to be honest as I was pretty out of practice but the guys were gracious. No feedback given but it was just the screen.
I had 4 interviews, all were behavioral questions that were very clearly based on Leadership Principles. One interview also included a product case question around how to launch a product internationally.
