Several phases. First you get approached by the HR for a phone a screening interviews. Very old school, interview questions. I was even asked where do you see yourself in 5 years?!
Then a number of online tests.
Then a phone interview with the hiring manager and then the onsite interview loop which is a number of interviews with the hiring manager again, HR, and someone amazon calls the Bar raiser.
During these phases you move on to the structured interview questions where you must answer using the STAR approach.
They have 14 leadership principles that they worship. You need to study those 14 principles and prepare situations for each one of them using the STAR method. If you don't have at least 2 situations for each leadership principle, don't even bother showing up for the interview.
Try to be dramatic with your stories. For example, tell me about a time when you had to Dive Deep. Saying that I had to read all the technical details of project X is a right answer, but it's boring. They don't like that. Also try to quantify your answers as much as possible, they love talking numbers.
