I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Lexington, KY)
Interview
Amazon doesn't offer interviews, you simply sign up and apply for a job online and then choose a date for a "pre-hire appointment". During that appointment you will take a drug test, show proof of identity and eligibility to work, and initiate background check and get a start date.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They didn't even interview me, or anyone. You simply apply and then have to pass a background and drug test, as well as submit an i-9 for identity purposes. Easy.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Charlotte, NC) in Jan 2023
Interview
From the outside the hiring process looks and seems amazingly fast and easy, but as we all know looks are deceiving. After four months and multiple positions offered…. Each offer seem to somehow implode right before starting date so then they have to technically “terminate you“ which is another 72 hours after the 72 hours you have to reapply for another position and it’s always way less an hour and it’s never the selective shift or even slightly close to your selected shift to begin with and they do not care… this is literally happened over seven times with me in the past four months. Still trying to get my foot in the door but almost to the point where is definitely not worth my time for this pay period and you know what is the worst is they have all of these people to assist with obtaining a position but none of them are willing to help and then have them give a crap.!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is your name and that’s probably the only question
No interview so its really easy to start working here especially if you are just entering the work field, differently recommend for teens and someone who enjoys a fast pace environment.
