I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (New York, NY) in Nov 2020
Interview
Grueling 5 interviews one after the other. Very formulaic and little conversation. You should look for the person whose job is NOT necessarily part of the role type you are looking for. They are most likely the Bar Raiser and have the most sway over the decision. So if everyone is a Solution Architect or SA Manager or Sales for the industry and one person is from Professional Services good chance they are the Bar Raiser.

Question 1
Questions are specific to their Leadership principles. They are designed to allow for follow up questions to deep dive into the aspects they are looking for.
- Make sure to discuss impact, the broader the better
- Make sure to back up your statements with data like "I reduced issue resolution by 5 hours which saved us 100,000 a year"
- Do not make things up, they will dig into your answers and ask numerous follow ups
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (Reston, VA)
Interview
Challenging interview process consisting of five separate 45 mins interviews. Amazon's leadership principles are well documented making preparation a straightforward process. If you don't prepare you probably won't do well.
