According to the Amazon hiring process all interviewers have to be “inclined” to hire you to get the job, you have to expect approx. 6 interviews in a row. Typically one of the interviewers will have a “bar raiser” role, to make sure the company can bring in new valuable skills.

Interview
Initial phone screen, and then a second screen with an HR specialist familiar with the organization. If that's a fit, there's a 1:1 with a similar role individual. Next round is the loop interview (look it up online) which consisted of 7 1-hour interviews with 1-2 people from different organizations. Entire process was as described in the first screening, and met all dates for response, feedback and ultimate go/no go decision.
