I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (Athen, , Attika) in Jan 2024
Interview
I was first sent a 60 minute test including a psychological/professional profile, a work simulation and some technical questions. Then I met with HR to talk about the process and expectations. Then I had a 1 hour meeting which was supposed to be half technical half "leadership" skills. It was almost only technical. The interviewer wouldn't catch any of my hooks for a soft skills discussion.
I was requested to prepare for the "leadership" portion of the interview which seemed odd to me. How does one prepare for soft skills?
My interviewer was at the same level as I was. I never met the hiring manager.

I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (Seattle, WA)
Interview
Several initial screens by recruiters validating my experience and resume.
Then a circuit of 5 interviewers in the same day lasting over 5 hours. When I was done I was offered a different job from the one for which I had interviewed.
I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (London, England)
Interview
The Amazon loop is an unusual process that is exhausting. It involves meeting a series of interviewers over a day, each of which has a different perspective. Mine was all remote, performed from the comfort of my home whilst the interviewers were largely US based.
Started with a phone screen with the hiring manager, moved into a technical interview (~20 questions) and finally 5 1:1 on site interviews. Outcome on the whole process via phone call a few weeks after the last interview.
