I applied through college or university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at American Express (New York, NY) in Jan 2016
Interview
I applied through school, and got the first round interview. It was a back-to-back interview of some cases and a few technical questions. The cases are not very complicated, but technical questions are tricky. You should be prepared for asking technical questions by intuition. I think they just want to see how much you know about the company.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at American Express (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Oct 2025
Interview
After an internal referral through the director himself, I went through 2 major technical rounds. The first round consists of questions regarding the company knowledge testing, and the 2nd round consists of tools and business case studies.
The interview process is usually quite open and conversational, starting with an introduction to the company and role. You’ll then discuss your background, experiences, and approach to risk management, followed by some situational or competency questions. It’s designed to assess both your technical knowledge and how you think through problems, but also gives you the chance to ask questions and show interest in the organisation.
