Okay experience
The HR recruiter was amazing. However the interview felt like a police interrogation. I would encourage Amex to train more his interviewers. It should be an exchange not interrogation

I interviewed at American Express (London, England)

The interview (for an legal summer internship) was online with an HR person and two person from the legal teams, it was very laid back and quite basic questions but, they definitely made you feel welcome and not stressed

Question 1
Asked two main questions:
1) what is one thing you would change in law?
2) who would you invite at your dinner table (deceased or alive)
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at American Express (Neu-Delhi) in Aug 2025
Interview
It was a 3 step process-1) OA 2) Technical Round 3) HR round. The oa consisted of aptitude and coding questions of simple-medium level difficulty. The technical round was easy. There were questions from oops concept and dbms. They also asked few questions from my projects. For the dsa, they asked me 2 simple questions-sort 0,1,2 and LRU cache. Then, in the HR round, there were normal behavioural questions like tell me about conflicts u have faced, disagreements, any academic failure, strengths and weeknesses and why do u want to join amex.
