American Express Product Manager interview questions

Applied online and had a recruiter reach out to me about 2 weeks later. The recruiter was outsourced and very difficult to understand and didn’t seem to know much about the company. He read questions essentially off the application (do you need visa sponsorship…) and then also asked me about any vacation time I had coming up which seemed like a red flag if the company already cares about what you do in your free time before you even meet with an actual employee. He then asked me about the salary I would be comfortable with and I said I wasn’t comfortable giving a range until I heard more about the job and the allotted pay scale for the role. He could not give me any kind of estimate on what the salary would be so we basically just wasted each other’s time and I strongly feel that was the reason I did not advance to the next round, as none of the other questions he asked were anything beyond what the company knew already. Their email after the phone interview stated I would hear back within 48 hours and it took them a week to decline me.
