I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Apple (Cupertino, CA) in Feb 2025
Interview
Standard phone screen with recruiter then moved to in-depth interview with hiring manager and team. Overall, the conversation was looking for examples and frameworks not explicitly stated on resume that were relevant to the job. There was a communication disconnect between the hiring manager and the recruiter on the travel expectations for the role. Ultimately, I rescinded my application due to culture fit and travel requirements.

Question 1
Where do you see your career trajectory in 5 years and how does this role factor into that?
Moderate, not too much to worry, just answer the questions properly and maintain proper discipline. It is just how you analyze and answer the questions asked and respond to it.
I had a first round of phone interview (chat) with a recruiter from Apple before an official video interview session with the hiring manager from Philippines. Both sessions went smoothly - recruiter and hiring manager were friendly and respectful.
