I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Apple (Columbus, OH) in Oct 2023
Interview
They asked me questions about myself, my experience, my goals, and my work attitude and process. Then they had me go through some code. It was chill but the code was quite difficult, I did have some trouble
"The interview process consisted of an initial phone screening followed by a coding challenge. After successfully passing the challenge, I was invited for an on-site interview. The on-site interview had multiple rounds, including technical deep dives, system design discussions, and behavioral questions. The interviewers were friendly and provided clarity whenever needed."
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
"One of the questions I recall was to design a system that could handle millions of requests per second and ensure data consistency. Another question focused on optimizing a given algorithm to improve its time complexity."
Coding, vision related questions, geometry related questions, and overall test. The process was not that tough. The coding part was medium level and questions were reasonable. The final interview was just talking, which was quite about benefits and other things.
