I was contacted by the recruiter on LinkedIn a few months back. The process from there on was smooth, though a bit lengthy. Over the course of about 4 weeks I was given a short assignment, a 1 on 1 technical round, a panel technical round, a HR round followed by a few follow up HR round due to disagreements on salary, and a general discussion with the manager.
The interviews was mostly good; short and precise. Interviewers were professional. The process was all online due to the pandemic but still it went quite well. Most questions were well targeted towards the profile while others were mostly about personality and professional aspirations. The assignment was short and reasonably scoped as well.
After I was selected, the offered salary came as a shock to me, which lead to a few round of negotiation and convincing on their part. This was the only unpleasant period in the whole process, because the HRs were neither very co-operative nor honest or maybe just forgetful about our prior discussions each time.
However, after reaching an somewhat unsatisfactory agreement on salary, I decided to join them given their reputation and the other benefits, and the pandemic situation.
The process after that was smooth as well, and have been working there for a few months now.
