I applied through other source. I interviewed at AstraZeneca
Interview
I was shortlisted for screening for 6 positions and went through interviews for all of them. These included business cases, interviews with various managers, HR interviews, hiring managers, and VP-level area managers. There were multiple types of interviews, each supposedly structured to evaluate fit and skills. Throughout these processes, I received gestures of approval, agreement, and compliments on my profile.
However, in every case, the company completely ghosted me. Despite positive feedback during the interviews, there was no follow-up, no feedback, and no conclusion to the process. Based on this experience, I believe AstraZeneca’s HR and recruitment teams are highly disorganized, unclear, and lack professionalism. They seem to lead candidates through an endless cycle of tests, presentations, and evaluations only to disappear without any further communication.
I strongly discourage engaging with their recruitment processes. Despite being a large company, they appear to hire randomly, and from what I’ve seen, they’ve filled some positions with individuals who weren’t even sector leaders or professionals with significant and recognized senior experience.
