Interview
I applied online for a spring internship in Gaithersburg, MD through their website, and got an e-mail requesting to set up a telephone interview in a couple weeks. The interview was a 15 minute background review... seemed to be from a staffing agency instead of HR. Just asked general questions pertaining to my background relevant to the position (lab experience, etc.) and why I wanted to work for MedImmune, then said I was good and that my file would be forwarded to the hiring manager for further interviewing. About a month later I received an automated e-mail saying that my position was no longer available, no direct response from anyone in MedImmune.
First a Hireview, then a real interview. They have a pretty fast pace so all took about 2 weeks. They are very clear about the timing of the intern and the salary you will get.
I would like to share my positive feedback regarding the HireVue interview process. The setup was highly professional and well-organized. The inclusion of practice attempts was particularly helpful, ensuring a seamless experience. Overall, I am very pleased with the process.
recruiter and then HM screen - was rejected shortly after. it was fine but they were looking for something VERY specific and technical for a lab based position in their medimmune campus.
