AstraZeneca Medical Science Liaison (MSL) interview questions

My experience with the interview process was quite disappointing. Initially, I was asked to record a video interview. Before scheduling an interview with the hiring manager, I was required to fill out a document with highly sensitive personal information, including salary details, home address, date of birth, and references with phone numbers—something that I found completely unacceptable at such an early stage. The interview itself felt awkward. There were no particularly insightful questions, and there were long, uncomfortable silences. I was the one leading the conversation, asking most of the questions. After being placed on hold for two months, I finally received a generic rejection email. Throughout this period, HR never followed up or responded to any inquiries. Overall, it was an unprofessional and frustrating experience.

They called two months after applying for the job. They explained the role and the process the candidate has to go through. They asked some questions about me and said they would get back to me.
