I recently interviewed with Avanade and went through four rounds: HR (30 mins), technical (45 mins), coding (120 mins), and cultural fit (60 mins). While the first three rounds were well-organized and the interviewers were professional, I felt the last round (cultural fit) was unnecessary and added little value to the overall process.
Unfortunately, my experience took a negative turn after the third round because of lack of communication from their side. Despite following up multiple times, I received no response regarding the outcome. There was no update, no rejection, and no acceptance—nothing. It was disappointing to be left in the dark after investing so much time.
Overall, the lack of post-interview communication and the unnecessary final round marred what could have been a positive experience. The entire process took three months, and I felt like my time and efforts were disregarded.
